Reception - RG

 We really enjoyed Party Day on Wednesday. We were very excited to come to  school in our party clothes and we looked very smart. We had a party in the hall where we played musical statues and the best dancer competition. Then we played pass the parcel which was lots of fun. We had a Christmas lunch in the hall with Christmas crackers! It was so much fun. In the afternoon Santa came to visit and gave us all some chocolate. We were all very excited to see him! Merry Christmas everyone and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year. 

 The Snow Queen  On Thursday we enjoyed watching The Snow Queen Puppet Show.   After the show Clive showed us how he makes the puppets. We have really enjoyed performing our Nativity to the school and to our families.  We loved dressing up in our costumes and learning all the Nativity songs.

In PE this week we have practicing dribbling the ball with a hockey stick. Mr Thompson was very impressed with our dribbling skills. We have been learning to read  and write our tricky words.  We are doing very well.
