Reception - RG

 It was wonderful to be back together after the Easter holidays. Our new topic this half term is all about 'animals' and we enjoyed playing in our new Pet Shop. We have been making animals out of junk modelling materials at the Creative Table. We have been playing Snakes and Ladders too! We played giant dominoes together and Mrs Grelak was very impressed by how well we understood the rules, helped each other and took turns.

We enjoyed doing lots of  Easter activities this week.  We made Easter cards, decorated Easter eggs and cut out Easter bunnies.  We also went on an Easter Egg hunt to find all the missing numbers. We had lots of fun finding the eggs which were hiding all around the playground and filling in our number eggs.

 Our topic this half term is all about 'Food' and healthy eating. We made vegetable soup with onion, carrots, parsnips and potatoes. We helped to chop the vegetables and we added the water and the stock cubes. We really enjoyed eating it.     It was so delicious! This week we have been practising our tricky words.  Mrs Grelak is so impressed by how well we know them. This week in PE we have been practising our throwing skills.    Every time we threw the bean bag into the bucket we scored a house point for our house.
