Big Writing

For the next two weeks, the children will be working on the story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. On Friday 20^th March the children will be writing a shopping list of food for the caterpillar.

Things you could do with your child;

·    Read the story

·    Discuss the story and the different foods

·    Show them examples of your lists (shopping list, ‘to do’ list etc)

·    Practise sounding out and writing some of the foods in the story.
