Polish Day

Image
We had lots of fun on our Languages Day learning all about Poland. Maja and Daria from Year 4 came to teach us some Polish words. We learned to count to 10 in Polish and we sang some nursery rhymes in Polish.  We coloured in the Polish flag. We cut out shapes to make Polish ribbons which are used as decorations on special occasions. The national flower of Poland is the poppy so we each made a poppy using sponge printing. We really enjoyed tasting the Polish sausages! They were delicious!

Stay and Play

We had lots of fun at Stay and Play with our mummies, daddies, grandmas, grandads, brothers and sisters.  We enjoyed showing them all the fun activities we do at school.

Autumn Counting

Image
We enjoyed making a home for 'Harold the Hedgehog' so he can hibernate for the winter. We counted out the correct number of conkers, pine cones and red, yellow and brown leaves for his home. We also counted out conkers and sycamore seeds. We had fun making our own hedgehog using leaves we collected on the playground. We added the correct number of sequin leaves to the trees.
