Reception - RG

 This week we have been continuing our work on the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen. At Forest School we went on a bear hunt through the grass, river, mud and even a snow storm! It was lots of fun.  We eventually found the bear in a cave! Then we made our own caves for the bear using sticks, logs, leaves and  feathers.  The bear tried them all out before choosing his favourite one.

In Maths this week we have been learning about repeating patterns. We made repeating patterns with natural materials we found on the field. Later in the week we made repeating patterns at Forest School with sticks, bark, feathers, berries and flowers. We had lots of fun!  We have been learning about our body and naming all our body parts. We drew around someone and then labelled the body parts.
