2D Shapes

This week we have been learning all about 2D shapes



We have been playing shape games and we are very good at taking turns.






We coloured in  2D shape pictures and used  the shape key so we knew what colour to make each shape.




We had fun playing shape bingo.



We played shape tracing and bubble popping games on the interactive board. 



















We painted shape sponge patterns.  We tried to make them repeating patterns.

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
