This Week in RG

In Maths this week we have been learning about floating and sinking.  We made a boat out of tin foil, then we estimated how many marbles would fit inside it before it sank. Our estimates were very close and 2 children were exactly right!  In PE we have been practicing for Sport's Day on Monday. We are very excited about all the races! We have been busy sewing our holiday bags ready to sell at the Enterprise Workshop next Wednesday. They are looking great!

  We have had a wonderful start to the new school year.   The children have settled in really well and are enjoying all of the activities.   They are making lots of new friends too. Here are some of the many photos we have taken over the last few weeks.

This Week in RG

  We have had a busy week again in RG.  We  learned  2 more letter sounds (a and t) and today we were very excited to write our first word! We sequenced the pictures from the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty and then we wrote the word 'sat'. We were very proud of ourselves and all our work has been displayed on our Humpty Board. We have also been practising our counting and we used a 5 frame to help us to do this. We enjoyed choosing and counting the different objects.
