Our story this week has been 'The Snail and the Whale' by Julia Donaldson. We wrote some amazing sentences about the story. We also painted a whale and made a snail out of air dry putty. They looked amazing! Erikas coloured in a beautiful picture of a whale. We practiced 'taking away' sums using the children on the bus. We also shared jelly beans between the teddy bears making sure we shared them equally! This afternoon we went on a bear hunt in Forest School. It was lots of fun but 'We're not going on a bear hunt again!'
SCHOOL PROTECTION AGAINST COVID-19
ReplyDeleteThis is a COVID-19 notification for public & private schools. We represent a program called “Protect the Children Now”, to help safeguard students & teachers from the COVID-19 virus. The system is appropriately called “The Protector”.
It can enable you to know every child’s temperature before they enter a school hallway or classroom or even get on a school bus - and provide facial recognition at the same time. It can even text the status of an individual child, if and when necessary.
A typical alert to a school nurse might say, “Vickie Meyers did not receive a tem-perature screening today, and can currently be found in room 109.” Or, the assis-tant principal might receive a text that says, “The following 8 students came to school today with a temperature in excess of 100.4° and have been directed to go to the nurse’s office.” There are 50 such notifications in our system to alleviate the administrative burden that, without our system, you would eventually en-counter.
In addition, our integrated design can even provide each child with a Smartwatch. For as little as 7¢ a day it can automatically transmit a message to the school or parents to notify them of a child’s elevated body temperature.
It can also be used to protect the general public when attending a school sporting event or a graduation ceremony. And we have priced it so that every school can afford it.
Within a half-second, The Protector can not only measure the student’s temperature but, in two additional seconds, using optional facial recognition can notify the school authorities or the child’s parents, via text or email.
It can even detect a child in a small crowd who has an elevated body temperature or notify an attendant if someone is not wearing a mask.
