This Week at School



                        We have been busy this week learning about odd and even numbers. 
                Sharing jelly beans between ourselves was a very good way of showing us 
                                             when there was an  odd one left over!






We have also been learning about length - longer and shorter.  
We had lots of fun outside finding sticks that were longer and shorter than Mrs Grelak's.




We used pine cones to make longer and shorter lines. 




We really enjoyed making our 'under the sea collage'. We chose all the materials to put on them and they looked amazing.












We practice our reading and writing every day. 
Mrs Grelak and Mr Jones are very impressed with how well we are doing.

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
