Polish Day

 We all dressed  in red and white to represent the colours on the Polish flag.  We all looked very smart.




The national flower of Poland is the poppy so we made made poppies out of tissue paper and wrote a card to take home.





We made Polish potato pancakes, sausages and cabbage rolls out of play dough.





We tried some Polish sausages. Most of us thought they were delicious!









We made poppy shapes in the red rice. It was lots of fun.

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
