This Week in RG

 It was wonderful to be back together again after the  holidays and we have had a very busy week in RG.

We had lots of fun celebrating Divali on Thursday.  We made Divali cards, rangoli patterns and paper chains.






  In the afternoon we had a Divali party in the hall. We tasted some Indian food and Mr Jones joined us for the party!







Then we dressed up in Indian costume and danced to some Indian music.





On Friday we had a wonderful time inside the Wonder Dome.  It was like being in space and we learned all about the different planets in our solar system.  







This week we  planted a daffodil bulb which we will look after and water until it is time to take home at Christmas time.

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
