This Week in RG

We made Dear Zoo lift the flap books this week and we chose and drew our own animals for each page.
We used our books to write the story in Big Writing on Friday.






In Art we  mixed colours to make more flowers for our display.






We also did finger painting to create lots of forget-me-nots.



 

In PE we were practising different ways of travelling through the lava! We were very good at hopping and jumping.





We enjoyed Stay and Play this week with our mummies, daddies, grandmas and grandads. We had fun showing them all the activities we play with and they had lots of fun too!

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.
