This Week in RG

This half term our topic is 'Food' and the book and our book of the week is-
The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  We enjoyed acting out the story and in Big Writing this week we wrote a list of all the food the caterpillar ate.








 We made caterpillars out of playdough and we printed caterpillars using cotton reels.





On Thursday it was World Book Day and we came to school dressed as a word or character. We looked amazing in our costumes and we enjoyed the reading trail in the playground finding all the clues and writing down the letters.

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
