Polish Day

 

We had lots of fun on our cultural day learning all about Poland.  We did some traditional Polish dancing, made Polish flags, and tasted Polish sausages.  They were delicious! We even made thick and thin Polish sausages out of play dough.

The Polish children in our class have been teaching us some Polish words and we have been using them throughout the day.














In Art we have finished our butterflies, inspired  by Damien Hirst's Butterfly Spin, and they look  amazing!

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
