This Week in RG

In Literacy we have had fun making words using our letter tiles. We took it in turns to take an object out of the bag and we put the letters in the correct order to spell the word.









































We have been learning all about 2d shapes and we went on a shape hunt around the school. We were amazed at how many shapes we saw! We took photographs of them with the ipads.
We even found pentagons and hexagons!















Our topic this half term is 'Houses and Homes' and we used shape sponges to paint a house. 
We decided what type of house we wanted to paint then we chose the sponge shapes to create it. 
It was lots of fun!

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
