This Week in RG

 Symmetry

This week we have been learning about shapes and patterns on objects that are the same in on each side. We learned that they  are symmetrical!

We played a game where we had to find the other half of our heart to make it whole and symmetrical.

We had lots of fun playing this game.








Then we painted butterflies. It was  magical the way each butterfly was symmetrical and unique.

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
