This Week in RG




The story we have been writing about this week is Dear Zoo and we made our very own Dear Zoo books. 
We enjoyed being the author and choosing the animals for  our story.





As part of our topic on 'Animals' we have been making  pictures of camouflaged animals. 
We really enjoyed drawing the same patterns on the background and the animal then watching the  animal become camouflaged!





This week we have been playing with some playtime toys. 
We were very good at sharing and taking turns with the toys.

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
