This Week in RG

 

In Music this week we have been learning the song 'Wind the Bobbin Up' and some of us performed the song to the rest of the class.







Our new topic this half term is Houses and Homes and we enjoy playing in the Builders Yard in the role play area.





Our story this week has been The Three Little Pigs and we have been acting out the story. We all want to be the big bad wolf!








In Maths we have been comparing numbers to 5 and we played a hoop game and recorded our results.  We had lots of fun trying to throw the frogs into the hoop!










We love the junk modelling in the Creative Area and we have made some amazing creations!

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
