This Week in RG

 In Maths this week we have been learning about capacity and using the language; full, empty, half full, nearly empty and nearly full.  We enjoyed dressing up as wizards and making magic potions in our bottles!


















We have been learning to sequence  the story The Three Little Pigs. To help us remember the order we acted it out. We performed it in front of the class and we had lots of fun acting out the story in the playground.  
 










In RE we were learning about the Christian belief that God made all the animals in the world. We looked at the  different continents on the globe and the kinds of animals we would find there.  
We then drew pictures of our favourite animal and we played a game putting the pictures of the animals in their correct habitat. We were very good at this!

Sports Day and Forest School

We really enjoyed our first Sport's Day! We did lots of races including the sack, running, bean bag and hurdles.  Mr Thompson was very proud of us all.   We had lots of fun at Forest School searching for bugs. We even found a slow worm! We really enjoyed the balancing ropes and everyone was able to walk across without falling off.

Trip to the Farm Park

We fed the very greedy goats! Their tongues tickled our hands which we found very funny! We climbed up to the top of the viewing tower so we could see the whole farm park. We could see for miles too.   After lunch  we played a game where we had to sort the animals into those who lay eggs and those who don't.  We were very good at this. We went exploring in the discovery barn where we stroked a rabbit and saw lots of different animals. We also stroked the sheep who were very friendly! At the end of the day we went back onto the bus and travelled back to school.  We had an amazing day!
